clever story telling

obviously 8 months was well spent in doing this, espcially with the cut art thingy.
the narration well rlly well done, but it wont hurt if u made basic film narration like establishing shot/180 degree rule etc.

overall, good job!

the thing that rlly bring me to this movie is the story itself, that means its rlly good...
the graphic r very well done, though some part look kinda lazy somehow, judging by some missing detail etc but the lip synchs r totally top notch!

congrats on the hard work u put into this one, stop motion or u call this 'chalkmation' is no doubt tricky and takes alot of time.

i love the flow of the animation, looks like u made it fluid enough, and maybe bcuz u understood the principle of animation or some sort. the camera could be more steadier, i dont haf much problem for it, maybe to older it is a big problem.. lol

Not rlly an animation

experimental or not, limited animation to me r not rlly an animation.
u could have a rlly decent animation going on here if u spend more time to do a frame by frame animation...

overall, i like the idea, but the shortness of the clip did not back up by decent animation or artwork. do more practice! :)

hey,

i done rotoscope work before so i know hw annoying that it took me forever to finish em. Anyway, bak to ur work... i rlly like ur style & i know hw hard it is to control ur strokes, but ur line got too wiggly so it kinda annoying. the simplicity in color of the chracter is rllygood but the vibrant background rlly bug me, maybe u did not add any annoying music to go wif it, but yeah it rlly annoying, maybe u should just make something like moving gradient as bakground instead....

overall, its good enuff to be presnt to fmly and frends, keep improving & maybe u'll go pro soon... good try! :D

i love the animation, the starting sketchy is a bit rough somehow byt when u enter the digital world, its all good... the idea was there, and the piano music rlly helped wif ur story telling.

btw, i noticed there was a white background during the "NG orange shine" at the back, try fixing that by applying png wif transparent on that...

love the animation, the style is good, the angle in most of the action r awesome.
but i think ur sound did not synched wif ur animation...

u can fix this by go to
FILE > PUBLISH SETTING > FLASH tab > click "Set..." button at the audio (audio event & audio stream),

change the fps to ur animation fps...

I dont rlly used of reviewing like this but what the hell

PROS :
+ awesome angle shot
+ nice catapult animation
+ love the terrain shot, the animation of it was very fluid, good job!

CONS :
- hate the vibrant color, it made it look abit 'cheap'
- weird bird loop, there's a weird pause when it flapped it's wings

overall, the animation is rlly good, adding something to match wif the song could also help alot... good luck! :D
